Kongsberg
Tricker PR works for Kongsberg Oil and Gas Technologies (KOGT) and Kongsberg Maritime – two divisions of the Norwegian headquartered KONGSBERG Group. As well as our monthly retainer activity and we have undertaken several one off projects for both divisions.
We raise the profile of KOGT, a pioneering developer of integrated process simulation and flow assurance solutions through a mix of PR and marketing activities. This includes the copywriting, design and print of a quarterly newsletter called Innovations, the creation of press releases announcing new contract wins and features focussing on development of its innovative technology. Last year we secured KOGT television coverage when it launched its latest 3D visualisation technology, SIM Reservoir, at the annual Subsea UK exhibition in Aberdeen. Tricker PR attended the exhibition having set up a number of interviews with trade press. We ‘sold in’ KOGT to STV – making it one of only two companies to be interviewed for the evening news bulletin.
Tricker PR also supports Kongsberg Maritime in raising the profile of its operations within the north east of Scotland. Similarly to KOGT, we undertake a mix of marketing and PR activity to meet objectives. We recently created Twitter and Facebook pages for a new drilling seminar and designed and issued creative mailers to create interest in the event. Press releases, features and business profiles are issued to local media.
Despite our main contact within KOGT being based in Hampshire, Tricker PR maintains regular contact through meetings, conference calls and email communications.
