Royal Deeside Larder

Highlighting the produce and products of the Royal Deeside and The Cairngorms, Tricker PR developed the Deelicious magazine. Deelicious is a high quality, image led, lifestyle publication which showcases the area’s food and drink, but also places it within the context of the glorious Deeside landscape. Originally intended to be an online only publication, additional funding was secured by the DMO to print copies for local distribution to hotel bedrooms etc.

Tricker PR also undertakes the consumer PR for a series of Royal Deeside Larder food events including:

  • The Venison Festival – a ten day long celebration of Deeside Venison from wild life safaris to family ceilidhs and chef demonstrations. Creating ideas for iconic food with the venison theme – such as a Desperate Dan style Venison Pie, Stag shaped tuille biscuits used in desserts and stags’ heads piped on chocolates – gave a strong image bank for the media relations elements of the campaign.
  • The TanaLonga – a five mile gastro ramble with four food stops for alfresco dining is a first for the area. Great photography illustrates the first TanaLonga.
  • Dine Around Deeside – the first Dine on Deeside will take place in Spring of 2011, so PR are plans are still under wraps!
